Resumen de El ejército realista en la ciudad de Querétaro, 1810-1821

Nuestra investigación está basada en fuentes primarias. En ella damos cuenta (cuantitativa y cualitativamente) de la situación del ejército realista en la ciudad de Querétaro, de 1810 a 1821. Mostramos por primera vez el número de soldados que llegaron a la ciudad (de caballería y de infantería), así como algunas de sus particularidades como: sueldos, vestuario, jubilaciones, reclutas, desertores, armamento, cuarteles, cárceles, entre otros. Además, mostramos el impacto que tuvo la ciudad de Querétaro con la llegada de dicho ejército.

Our investigation is based on primary sources. In her we give account (quantitatively and qualitatively) of the situation of the realistic army in the city of Querétaro, from 1810 to 1821. We show for the first time the number of soldiers who arrived at the city (of cavalry and infantry), as well as some of its particularitities like: wages, uniforms, retirements, recruits, deserters, armament, quarters, jails, among others. In addition, we showed the impact that had the city of Querétaro with the arrival of this army.
