Resumen de ¿Fracaso educativo, educación fracasada en México?

Este ensayo realiza un breve recorrido histórico del devenir de la educación en México con un énfasis sobre la educación superior. Plantea las condiciones en que ha funcionado la educación y reporta sus amplios problemas y limitaciones. Por medio de un estudio cualitativo y no cuantitativo señala las circunstancias actuales y considera que la principal causa de la crisis educativa y social en el país es debida al modelo neoliberal. Muestra las contradicciones imperantes y termina asumiendo que no hay un fracaso educativo ni la educación es fracasada en México.

This essay performs a brief historical tour of the evolution of education in México with an emphasis on higher education. It raises the conditions under which functioned education and brings its extensive problems and limitations. By means of a qualitative study and not quantitative noted the current circumstances and considered that the main cause of the educational and social crisis in the country is due to the neoliberal model. It shows the prevailing contradictions and ends assuming that there is not an educational failure nor education is unsuccessful in Mexico.
