  • Mr Maisonneuve and Dr Bruno raise the possibility that the association between SVR and reduced occurrence of hepatocellular carcinoma among patients with chronic HCV infection and advanced hepatic fibrosis in our analyses could be confounded by HCV genotype or subtype.
