Resumen de Structure validity of the three-factor eating Questionnaire-R18 in Greek population

  El objetivo del presente estudio fue evaluar la estructura factorial de la TFEQ-R18. El proyecto se llevó a cabo en la población griega, por lo que el cuestionario fue traducido en la lengua griega. 495 hombres y mujeres de edades comprendidas entre 12-45 años de edad participaron en el presente estudio. Se utilizaron una serie de técnicas para el análisis de la estructura de CFA. Se realizaron análisis confirmatorios y exploratorios. Varios criterios se utilizaron para poner a prueba las estructuras factoriales hipótesis de la AIMS. Los resultados de CFA de mostró que el instrumento R-18 elemento tenía propiedades psicométricas adecuadas para la medición de tres dimensiones de la conducta alimentaria de la población griega Sin embargo, estos resultados \ revelado que un instrumento R-16 tema se adapta mejor a la población griega. El presente estudio siempre alentadora evidencia preliminar propiedades psicométricas seleccionadas del TFEQ-R18. Este instrumento parece ser una medida válida de las tendencias de la restricción cognitiva, comer sin control y alimentación emocional de la población griega.

  The aim of the present study was to examine the factor structure of the TFEQ-R18. The project was conducted in greek population; thus, the questionnaire was translated in greek language. 495 males and females aged between 12-45 years old participated in the present study. There were used a series of CFA techniques for structure analysis. Confirmatory and exploratory analyses were conducted. Several criteria were used to test the hypotheses factor structures of the AIMS. The results of CFA's showed that the R-18 item instrument had adequate psychometric properties for measuring three dimensions of eating behavior of the Greek population However these results \revealed that an R-16 item instrument was better adapted to the Greek population . The present study provided encouraging preliminary evidence supporting selected psychometric properties of the TFEQ-R18. This instrument seems to be a valid measure of the tendencies of cognitive restraint, uncontrolled eating and emotional eating of Greek population.
