  • Resumen
    • The study by Dr Eva and colleagues1 highlighted an important issue in evaluating applicants for admission to medical school, but I believe it was inherently flawed. The authors reported that achievement on the multiple mini-interview (MMI) enabled successful selection of applicants as measured by scores on the national licensing examination. Obtaining high scores on national licensing examinations, however, is an inappropriate outcome metric to demonstrate the success of admissions committees in selecting superior candidates
