Resumen de Resiliencia en personas con cáncer

  El propósito de la investigación fue determinar las conductas resilientes en personas con diagnóstico de cáncer del Hospital Privado el Rosario de Cabimas.

  La investigación se evidencia en el paradigma positivista y corresponde a una investigación descriptiva y de campo. La población estuvo constituida por 100 pacientes con diagnostico reciente de cáncer. Para recabar los datos se aplicó un instrumento de 40 ítems. Al instrumento se le calculó la validez de contenido, a través del juicio de experto, la confiabilidad por medio del método Alfa de Cronbach arrojó como resultado 0.92. El procesamiento de los resultados se efectuó a través de una estadística descriptiva. Los resultados estimados, demuestran que la mayoría de la población objeto de estudio no han logrado enriquecer sus vidas de acuerdo a sus experiencias. A su vez no poseen fortalezas suficientes para aceptar y entender el diagnostico de su enfermedad lo que lleva a deducir que dichos pacientes no han logrado desarrollar, en el transcurso de sus vidas, conductas resilientes. Sobre la base de los resultados se establecieron las conclusiones y recomendaciones para el desarrollo de la resiliencia en pacientes con cáncer, como herramienta para el manejo de la enfermedad y como parte de su vida cotidiana.

  The intention of the investigation was to determine the resilientes conducts in people with diagnosis of cancer of the Private Hospital the Rosary of Cabimas. The investigation is demonstrated in the positivist paradigm and corresponds to a descriptive investigation and of field. The population was constituted patient percents with I diagnose recent of cancer. In order to successfully obtain the data an instrument of 40 items was applied. To the instrument the content validity calculated to him, through expert judgment, the trustworthiness by means of the method Alpha of Cronbach threw like result 0.92. The processing of the results took place through a descriptive statistic. The considered results, demonstrate that most of the population study object they have not managed to enrich his lives according to his experiences. They as well do not have strengths sufficient to accept and to understand I diagnose of its disease which takes to deduce that these patients have not managed to develop, in the course of its lives, resilientes conducts. On the base of the results the conclusions and recommendations for the development of the resilience in patients with cancer settled down, as tool for the handling of the disease and like part of its daily life
