    Comentari del volum recopilatori dels articles més rellevants del notari Josep M. PuigSalellas sobre el marc juridicolingüístic del Regne d’Espanya, amb atenció especial a la legislaciólingüística del Principat de Catalunya. S’hi destaca l’intent de bastir una interpretació al mésfavorable possible al redreçament de les llengües oficials diferents de l’espanyol i la denúncia,quan escau, de la insuficiència de la norma i del caràcter ideològic de la jurisprudència.

    This is a review of an edition of the most important articles written by the lawyerJosep M. Puig Salellas on the juridico-linguistic framework of the Kingdom of Spain, with par-ticular reference to linguistic legislation in Catalonia. The main focus is on Puig Salellas’s effortto interpret the relevant body of laws in a way which is optimally favourable to a normalized andnormativized status for the officially recognized non-Spanish languages of the state. Due criti-cism is also made both of the shortcomings of programmes for language reform and of the ideo-logical tendencies of jurisprudence.
