Este estudio, al tiempo que ofrece la edición del único fragmento que ha sobrevivido de una crónica, el Llibre de l´infant en Pere (Pedro el Grande, rey de Aragón), plantea las complejas relaciones entre historia y ficción en la escritura de un texto histórico. El análisis de las mismas lleva también a preguntarse sobre la recepción de estas ficciones y qué papel juegan en la imagen que el futuro tendrá de los acontecimientos y de sus personajes.

This article offers the edition of the only extant fragment of the chronicle Llibre de l´infant en Pere (Peter the Great, King of Aragon), and it investigates the complex relationship between history and fiction in historical narrative. The analysis of these relationships leads to wonder about the reception of these fictional works, and about the role played by the image that the events and the characters had in future works.
