The author interprets the historical influence by so-called "Conversos" (New Christians) during the period of the Iberian reconquest (between the VIII & XV centuries) in the "peculiar" deep rooted cultural behavioural phenomenon of the "blasphemous utterance by the Spanish people, and explains the fascination with "fierce" anticlericalism sentiment observed in the Spanish subconscious after centuries of religious rivalry in opposition to the Islam.
