    La Escuela de Pacientes es un proyecto promovido y financiado por la Consejería de Salud de la Junta de Andalucía que tiene como objetivo contribuir a la generación e intercambio de conocimiento y experiencias sobre el manejo de distintas enfermedades.

    Mediante este proyecto se pretende, por un lado, que todas las personas puedan ejercer un papel más activo y responsable sobre su salud. Y, por otro lado, promover entre pacientes y profesionales una actitud que conduzca a mejorar la calidad de vida de los pacientes que padecen determinadas enfermedades crónicas a partir de sus propios significados, de los modos como enfrentan y perciben el mundo estas personas.

    En este artículo, haciendo uso de la narrativa clínica y tomando como base de referencia el primer Congreso de la Escuela de Pacientes, se analiza el enfoque de salud que propone este proyecto y su posible vinculación con la resiliencia.

    The Patients' School is a project promoted and financed by the Council of Health of the "Junta de Andalucía" that aims to contribute to the generation and exchange of knowledge and experiences on the managing of different diseases.

    By means of this project, on the one hand, it is pursued that all the people can perform a more active and responsible role on their health. And, on the other hand, to promotean attitude between patients and professionals that leads to improve the quality of life of the patients who suffer certain chronic diseases starting from their own meanings and the ways these people face and perceive the world.

    In this article, using the clinical narrative and taking as a base of reference the first Congress of the Patients' School, the approach of health that proposes this project and its possible links with the resilience are analyzed.
