  • Resumen
    • This paper analyses the industrial linkages of the most representative branch of tourism, hotels and restaurants, in a broad sample of countries compiled by the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development. To examine the linkages, the authors employ analytical methods that, although rarely used, have nevertheless proven very appropriate in this case. An analysis of clusters based on the theory of graphs reveals vertical associations. Furthermore, factorial analysis enables a new grouping to be made based on the similarity of production patterns between the branches. This second analysis produces interesting results that clarify the diversity of the classification previously obtained from the cluster analysis with respect to the countries in the sample.
