En el presente artículo se pretende analizar la violencia en la pareja por considerarse un tema actual e importante enmarcado en el complejo cambiante y difícil momento que atraviesa nuestra sociedad. El maltrato puede adueñarse de los hogares de una manera silenciosa, como un huésped indeseable, dificultándose expulsarlo. Generando o exacerbando crisis internas y, agudizando los conflictos ya existentes entre sus miembros. Si deseamos vivir en paz, libertad, igualdad, tolerancia, respeto y concordia debemos comenzar por la pareja. Se presume que si se logra erradicar u orientar a las futuras familias, constituye un factor de protección en el seno de su nuevo hogar, ya que una pareja orientada, informada y acompañada, tendrá una mejor salud mental y ello redundará en una función materna y paterna exitosa y por tanto una sociedad más humana, consciente y feliz.

In this article we attempt to analyse the violence in the couple because is an actual and important theme framed into the complex and troublesome time lived by our society. Maltreatment can invade silently the homes, acting as an undesirable guest becoming after quite hard to beat off. It is presumed herein that if is likely eradicate such violence or guiding the future families, so this will be a protective factor within the new home, for when a couple is adequately oriented, informed and accompanied they will have a better mental health, conducive also to a successful function in motherhood and fatherhood, and therefore a guarantee to attain a more humane, conscious and fortunate society.
