Los géneros de producción escolástica: algunas cuestiones histórico-críticas

    La configuración de la categoría historiográfica «Escolástica» ha dado lugar a una serie de cuestiones y reflexiones interesantes. Tiene especial importancia la resolución de dos de ellas: 1. que la categoría sea aplicable a todas las disciplinas del currículo universitario medieval, y en especial a la filosofía; 2. que el contenido significativo de la categoría permita una aplicación realmente útil. La conceptualización de la «escolástica» en la línea de De Rijk permite visualizar el surgimiento de este modelo a mediados del siglo XII, en forma paralela a la consolidación de las instituciones escolásticas y a la estructuración, en su interior, del triple ejercicio de la lectio, la quaestioy la disputatio; permite además fijar y comprender los términos ad quem para cada disciplina, incluyendo la filosofía, en la medida en que los cambios en la esfera del conocimiento pusieron en crisis la tarea de los magistri. Se trata entonces, de estudiar más particularizadamente diversos aspectos de la producción teórica medieval que puedan ser caracterizados adecuadamente dentro de esta categoría.

    Interesting issues and thinking have risen when the category in historiography «Scholastics» was shaped. It is important to resolve two of them: 1. the category should be applied to all disciplines in the medieval university curriculum, especially to philosophy; 2. the significant contents of the category should allow a truly useful application.Conceptualizing Scholastics as De Rijk proposes, allows to visualize the coming up of this model in about the middle of the twelfth century. It appeared at the same time as the consolidation of the scholastic institutions and within them the structure of the triple exercise of lectio, queastio and disputatio. It also permits to understand the terms ad quem for each discipline, including philosophy insofar as the changes in the circle of knowledge put into crisis the task of the magistri.It deals with studying in a more particular way several aspects of the medieval theoretical production which could be correctly characterized in this category.
