    Es un hecho significativo que el viejo asunto de la elaboracion de una teoria de las categorias esta ausente tanto en el obra de Hans--�].Georg Gadamer como en la de Paul Ricoeur, los dos padres fundadores de la hermeneutica filosofica desarrollada en la segunda mitad del siglo XX. La pregunta que planteamos aqui es: .esta justificada esa ausencia? .la renuncia a una teoria (hermeneutica) de las categorias no implica prescindir de una parte importante de una �gontologia hermeneutica�h? En este articulo intentaremos responder a esta cuestion

    It is a significant fact that the old matter of the development of a theory of the categories is absent in the work of Hans--©\.

    Georg Gadamer and Paul Ricoeur, the two founding fathers of the philosophical hermeneutics developed in the second half of the 20th century. The question we ask here is: is this absence justified? the waiver of a (hermeneutic) theory of categories does not imply to dispense with an important part of a ".hermeneutic ontology".? In this article we will try to answer this question
