    El estudio aborda el análisis de las sentencias dictadas en aplicación del principio de igualdad de trato y oportunidades entre mujeres y hombres desde el 1 de septiembre de 2011 hasta el 31 de agosto de 2012 por el Tribunal de Justicia de la Unión Europea.

    También incluye sentencias y decisiones emanadas del Tribunal Europeo de Derechos Humanos. Durante el periodo objeto de análisis, el autor observa que se mantiene la reducción del número de cuestiones que ya observaba en el periodo anual inmediatamente anterior. Y destaca la progresiva interacción entre ambos Tribunales que abre la cuestión a los actores sociales y profesionales de cómo desarrollar una interacción auténticamente fructífera entre las garantías judiciales de los tres instrumentos europeos de derechos humanos: la Convención Europea de Derechos Humanos, la Carta Social Europea y la Carta de los Derechos Fundamentales de la Unión Europea.

    The study deals with the analysis of judgments under the principle of equal treatment and opportunities between women and men from the September 1, 2011 until August 31, 2012 by the Court of Justice of the European Union. It also includes statements on the subject issued by the European Court of Human Rights. During the reporting period and according the author, it maintains the reduction in the number of issues already noted in the preceding annual period. And the author highlights the increasing interaction between the two courts that opens the question to stakeholders and professionals how to develop a truly fruitful interaction between the fair trial of the three European human rights instruments:
