O impacto económico e territorial dos inmigrantes e dos retornados na Galiza (1990-2005)

    Dende mediados dos anos 80 percíbese unha mudanza na tendencia dos movementos migratorios, de forma que o territorio galego pasou a rexistrar saldos fortemente negativos para converterse en receptor neto de poboación, tanto procedente do estranxeiro como do resto do Estado español. Esta nova situación é debida, por unha parte, á chegada recente de inmigrantes de nacionalidade estranxeira e, por outra parte, ás achegas da inmigración de retorno. Con este trabalo preténdese facer unha contribución ás recentes investigacións relativas ao impacto das actuáis correntes migratorias rexistradas na Galiza nos ámbitos económico e territorial. Iniciarase este estudo cunha aproximacón ás fontes empregadas no traballo. A continuación faráse un repaso a evolución dos movementos migratorios nos últimos quince anos, tanto a nivel do conxunto da comunidade como a escala municipal, analizando tamén as áreas de procedencia dos chegados e de destino dos galegos que abandonaron o seu lugar de orixe. Finalmente, trataranse os grandes impactos económicos (afiliación á Seguridade Social, contribución ás contas do Estado e de Galiza) e demográficos (cruzando os datos do crecemento natural e do saldo migratorio) que a inmigración e o fenómeno do retorno están a ter na sociedade galega.

    From mid years 80 a change in the tendency of the migratory movements in Galicia exists, going to register very negative balances to become population receiver. Those new residents arrive as much from the foreigner as of the rest of the Spanish State. These contributions are, on the one hand, immigrants of foreign nationality and, on the other, return immigrants. With this article it is tried to deepen in the recent investigations on the impact of the present registered migratory currents in Galicia in the scopes economic and territorial. The study will begin with an approach to the sources used in the work. Next it will in the last be made one review to the evolution of the migratory movements fifteen years, as much concerning the set of the independent community like a climbs municipal. On the other hand, the places of origin of the immigrants will be analyzed and also the spaces of destiny of the Gallegos who left their place of origin. Finally, the great economic impacts will treat (affiliation to the Social Security, contribution to the accounts of the State and Galiza) and demographic (crossing to the data of the natural growth and the migratory balance) that the immigration and the phenomenon of the return have in the Galician society.
