El Colegio Evangélico Alemán "El Porvenir", en Madrid, es -con el Instituto Internacional-, el primer centro de enseñanza media y superior con que contó la renaciente minoría protestante en España. Estudio sobre la adquisición de los terrenos sobre los que se asentó por el pastor alemán Friedrich Fliedner, la expropiación parcial de los mismos por el Estado en 1881 y consiguiente contencioso hispano-germano, y edificación del Colegio entre 1892 y 1897.

An approach to how the Germán Evangelical School "El Porvenir", in Madrid, was together with the Internacional Institute- the first institution of Secondary and Higher Education the renascent Protestan! minority in Spain had. This is also a study about the Germán Minister Friedrich Fliedner's acquisition of the site for his school, its partial expropriation by the State in 1881, and the consequent Hispano-German litigation and building of the School between 1892 and 1897.
