  • Resumen
    • Urban form, such as a main street or a district, arises from the interactions of many designers over time. To compose the city, one must not only be able to design a building, landscape or infrastructure, but also contribute to the emergent character of towns and districts. This paper outlines the importance of this relationship between individual acts of design and the collective design of the city, and delineates components of a civic design process.
