    Uno de los ejes sobre los que se desarrolla el turismo cultural lo constituye el denominado patrimonio cultural, alrededor del cual nace una industria que mueve cantidades importantes de recursos. Dada su relevancia y la necesidad de obtener resultados positivos, se ha observado una preocupación creciente tanto de los responsables de la gestión como de la comunidad investigadora por analizar los factores a considerar en la �explotación del patrimonio cultural� que permitan llevar a cabo una gestión empresarial. En este trabajo hemos identificado los más significativos, pues serán los que condicionen la estructura y el contenido de los sistemas de información en los que apoyar la toma de decisiones, y a su vez, delimiten la teoría organizativa desde la que abordar su estudio.

    Cultural heritage sites are one of the axes of the cultural tourism sector. They generate important quantities of resources. So considering his relevancy and the need to obtain positive results, has observed an increasing worry so much of the managers and of the academic community for analyzing the factors to consider in the management of the cultural heritage sites. In this paper we have identify the most significant factors that characterize these organizations and that it will to bear in mind in the management information systems design.

    At the same time, they delimit the organizational theory since the one that to undertake their study.
