  • The fades organization of the Gordexola Formation (lower to middle Albian) has been studied in a sector along the south limb of Bilbao antidinorium. Black shales deposited in basin environments constitute the background facies. The basal and intermediate carbonate breccias together with the general facies distributions, allow to draw a general by-pass margin model for the Gordexola basin
