  • Soft-sediment deformation structures related with hummocky cross stratification appear in the Upper Miocene calcarenites of the Guadalquivir Basin. They are analysed and after consider their different possible genetic mechanisms, they are interpreted as originated by licuefaction processes triggered by the storm wave action
