  • In the province of Cáceres 3% of the population are immigrants (foreigners who do not belong to the European Union). Within the province the area that corresponds to the Diocese of Coria-Cáceres presents a significantly lower proportion 1.6%, whereas the area of the diocese of Plasencia reaches 4.7%. This is due, mainly, to the abundant immigration which exists in the towns and villages of the Valley of the Tietar: Talayuela, Navalmoral, Rosalejo, Losar and Jaraíz de la Vera, etc.
