Resumen de La creación literaria: Del lápiz y el papel al hardware y al software

Se discute el efecto de las técnicas tradicionales de escritura en la forma y el contenido de escribir ficción. Desde el manuscrito hasta las más recientes experiencias con el internet, el escritor tradicional lucha para expresar su saber. La plasticidad del cerebro para responder a los diferentes y progresivos estímulos del medio atrofia sus tradicionales habilidades de escritura y también genera otras. Con base en la experiencia de algunos escritores, particularmente latinoamericanos, se estudia la relación entre el manuscrito y la palabra mecanografiada; luego, la aparición y reducción de los borradores de los textos de ficción por el uso de la máquina de escribir y la inminencia del internet; a consecuencia de lo anterior, el desvanecimiento de la forma manuscrita para hacer ficción. Se comenta cómo la llegada del internet ilustra la aparición de una nueva metáfora.

This paper discusses the impact of traditional writing techniques on the form and content of writing fiction. From the handwriting until the most recent experiences with the internet, the traditional writer struggles trying to express his knowledge. The plasticity of the brain responds to the different and progressive environmental stimulus atrophies some handwriting skills, but also generates others. Based on the experience of some writers, particularly Latin Americans, this study the relationship between the manuscript and the typewritten word; after that, because of the use of the typewriter and for the imminence of the internet the emergence and reduction of the rough drafts of fiction texts; consequently, the deteriorating of the manuscript form to write fiction. It comments on how the arriving of the internet illustrates the appearing of a new metaphor.
