    Este ensayo es una crítica histórica y filosófica sobre la película de Alejandro Amenábar, Ágora, y he decidido incluirla en esta colección debido a que reúne algunos de los propósitos que considero más importantes de Studia Hermetica:

    conexión entre pasado y modernidad, interpretación artística y memoria histórica, y finalmente divulgación científica, tomando como excusa la figura de Hipatia de Alejandría.

    This essay is a historical and philosophical analysis about the Alejandro Amenábar�s film Agora, and I�ve decided to include it in this collection because it summarizes some of the most remarkable purposes of Studia Hermetica:

    connection between the past and the modernity, artistic interpretation and historical memory, and finally the scientific divulgation, using the figure of Hypatia of Alexandria in this task.
