The Economic Defense Administrative Council (Conselho Administrativo de Defesa Econômica ¿ CADE) is the governmental instance responsible for leading the economic policy of consumption in Brazil. Such policy is developed according to the guidelines of the Economic Law, which presents, as its objective, the development of the State, allowed the "free initiative" duly combined with the respect and the observance of the basic rights and guarantees of the human being.
