The stratigraphy and biostratigraphy of the Upper Lias-Dogger transition in the Sierra de Reclot is analysed. These stratigraphic levels in the boundary between the Zegri and Upper Ammonitico Rosso formations show condensed deposits and an important stratigraphic lacuna as a minimum of Middle Toarcian-Upper Aalenian age. During Upper Lias-Aalenian the sedimentary processes were controlled by synsedimentary faults, after fossilized by an Upper Aalenian stromatolitic crust
