    Basque pelota courts (knows as frontons) have become major architectural places in public spaces across the Basque country. Three projects involving the construction of frontons were selected and their creators interviewed to learn more about the contempory approach to the design of frontons. These examples were selected to include three differents types of frontons: an indoor fronton, and outdoor fronton, and a covered outdoor fronton.

    Frontoiek euskal herrietako erdiguneetan izan duten garrantzi arkitektonikoaz jabeturik, frontoi garaikidearen izaera definitzeko gerturapena dugu hau. Horretarako 3 frontoi-proposamen aukeratu dira eta egileen gogoetak jaso dira 3 solasalditan. Frontoiaren tipologia desberdinak jaso nahi izan dira: hiri-eskalako frontoi-eraikin itxia, espazio publikoa eratzen duen frontoia eta frontoi baten estaldura.
