    Tras una breve introducción, este estudio muestra la bibliografía existente sobre el tema de la educación primaria en la provincia de Cáceres durante la segunda mitad del siglo XIX, concretamente desde 1857 hasta 1900. La bibliografía se ordena por archivos (Archivo Universitario de Salamanca, Archivo General de la Administración, Archivo de la Diputación Provincial de Cáceres y otros) y por bibliografía general sobre historia de la educación en la provincia. Los autores comentan algunas de las obras más representativas.

    After a brief introduction, this study shows the existing literature on the subject of primary education in the province of Cáceres in the second half of the nineteenth century, specifically from 1857 to 1900. The bibliography is organized by files (File of Salamanca University, General Archive of the Administration and the Provincial Archives of Cáceres) and general literature on the history of education in the province. The authors discuss some of the most representative works
