  • Channel-lobe transition deposits have not been well documented in the ancient record. The apparent continuous spectrum between the two end members involved, channel-fill and lobe deposits respectively, has left this facies asociation as the less well known in turbidite facies scheme. Detai/ed analysis of well outcropped sections has allowed the characterization of this poorly known facies association
