  • The materials from Miocene age which appeared in this area are attributed to the so-ca/led «post-manto» materials. Those materials form a calcareous series with more detritical parts generated in the zone comprehended between the continent and the shallow platfform. Sub-environments are very well represented in a sequence which includes four tecto-sedimentary unities
