  • In the coronitic gabbros of La Bastida (Toledo) severa/ metamorphic corona textures of phlogopite and pargasitic amphibole around ilmenite are developed. The genesis of this coronas is directly linked with the widespread developement of coronas around olivine. The metamorphic conditions ofthese coronas are similar to those produced in the Other coronitic textures in olivine, that are the intermediate to Iow pressure granulitic facies of regional metamorphic peak of the area
