    This text analyzes the práxis on the marcs of bourgeois social life from a conception of the social human being ontology. It states that the constitution and the development of the social life reproduction process or práxis have the work as central axis. The work is here considered as the appropriation of the exterior nature mediated by the conscience and by the work instruments with the finality to transform and to subordinate it to the satisfaction of the human necessities. It understands that in this process the mankind also transforms himself/herself controlling him/her instinctive inner nature and instituting at this place a humanized and historical-social nature. It defends that human and world comprehension are a fundament on the social worker�s vocational training must be basedon. As the Social Work is an investigative and intervened profession, there is a preoccupation about endowing the social worker�s future with a theoretical-methodological fundament and with ethical-politics values that assure a capacity of apprehension and of proposing actions from particularities present in the daily professional practice.

    Este texto analisa a práxis nos marcos da vida social burguesa a partir de uma concepção de ontologia do ser social. Afirma-se que a constituição e o desenvolvimento do processo de reprodução da vida social ou práxis têm como eixo central o trabalho. O trabalho é aqui conceituado como apropriação da natureza exterior mediada pela consciência e pelos instrumentos do trabalho com a finalidade de transformála e subordiná-la à satisfação das necessidades humanas. Entende-se que nesse processo o homem também transforma a si mesmo controlando sua natureza interior instintiva e instituindo em seu lugar uma natureza humanizada e histórico-social. Defende- se que essa compreensão de homem e de mundo seja a base sobre a qual a formação profissional do assistente social deva se sustentar. Como o Serviço Social é uma profissão investigativa e interventiva, há uma preocupação em dotar o futuro assistente social de uma fundamentação teórico-metodológica e de valores éticopolíticos que lhe assegurem a capacidade de apreensão e proposição de ações a partir das particularidades presentes no cotidiano da prática profissional.
