Resumen de A importância e o significado da casa abrigo para mulheres em situação de violência conjugal.

  The present work has as theme the Public Politics of combat to the domestic violence against the woman and his/her object is the House of Support �Song of Dahlia�, service implanted in Londrina in the year of 2004. He/she has as objective identifies and to analyze the changes, the meaning and the importance of the House of Support for the women in situation of domestic violence that you/they lived the shelter situation. For this I aim at to be reached, they were lifted up data to characterize those women�s profile through the records of the section of Social Service of the institution and accomplished interviews with the women that lived the shelter situation in the period of June from 2004 to June of 2005. The results appear for the importance of the service in the rupture process with the violence cycle and for the continuity of their lives.

  O presente trabalho tem como tema as Políticas Públicas de combate à violência doméstica contra a mulher e seu objeto é a Casa de Apoio �Canto de Dália�, serviço implantado em Londrina no ano de 2004. Tem como objetivo identificar e analisar as mudanças, o significado e a importância da Casa de Apoio para as mulheres em situação de violência doméstica que vivenciaram a situação de abrigo. Para este objetivo ser alcançado, foram coletados dados para caracterizar o perfil dessas mulheres através das fichas do setor de Serviço Social da instituição e realizadas entrevistas com as mulheres que vivenciaram a situação de abrigo no período de junho de 2004 a junho de 2005. Os resultados apontam para a importância do serviço no processo de ruptura com o ciclo de violência e de continuidade da vida dessas mulheres.
