    I treat, in this article, about the relations between the Social Work and its project ethical-political. Beginning from a social-historical conception, I analyze the profession and the project like social buildings in determined historical contexts. I place the foundations of the project and explain its relations with the societary projects, as well as I point out the importance of the professionals� qualification and determination on direction of the consolidation of the ethical-political project.

    Trato, neste artigo, das relações entre o Serviço Social e o seu projeto éticopolítico.

    Partindo de uma concepção sócio-histórica, analiso a profissão e o projeto como construções sociais em contextos históricos determinados. Situo os alicerces do projeto e explicito suas relações com os projetos societários, bem como ressalto a importância da qualificação e empenho dos profissionais no sentido da consolidação do projeto ético-político.
