Las influencias orientales en el pensamiento occidental: de la Ilustración al idealismo postkantiano

    Repasamos las influencias orientalistas del pensamiento occidental en el período comprendido entre los siglos XVII y XVIII, subrayando estas influencias en tres representantes de la Ilustración (Leibniz, Wolff y Hume), un representante de la reacción al racionalismo ilustrado (Herder) y dos representantes del idealismo poskantiano posterior (Schelling y Hegel), para constatar la relevancia de estas influencias. Proponemos exponer la trayectoria del pensamiento occidental de modo que alcancemos cronológicamente a los autores que hemos señalado y que, sin ser los únicos influenciados por un orientalismo cultural, sin duda resultan incuestionables para evaluar dicha influencia. Esta investigación propone presentar las referencias biográficas de estos seis repre¬sentantes del filosofar occidental para argumentar, por un lado, la insalvable inter-relación cultural que el binomio oriente-occidente en temas culturales parece aislar y, por otro, ordenar esa influencia.

    The following article revises the orientalist influences of the western thought in the period understood between the seventeenth and the eighteenth centuries, emphasizing these influences in three representatives of the Enlightenment (Leibniz, Wolff and Hume), a representative of the reaction to the illustrated rationalism (Herder) and two representatives of the later postkantian idealism (Schelling and Hegel) to state the importance of these influences. For this purpose we propose to expose the path of the western thought so that we can reach chronologically the indicated authors, who, without being the only ones influenced by a cultural orientalism, undoubtedly turn out to be unquestionable to evaluate the above mentioned influence.

    This investigation presents the biographical references of these six representatives of the western philosophy to argue, on one hand, the insurmountable cultural interrelationship that the binomial east-west seems to isolate in cultural topics and, on the other hand, to arrange this influence.
