    El objetivo central, es evidenciar las condiciones de la enseñanza del Derecho durante los últimos 50 años, como factor determinante en la configuración del papel que cumplen los abogados como elemento integrante de la sociedad, y su incidencia positiva o negativa en la transformación social a través de la operación del Derecho. De esta forma, se hará un acercamiento a la caracterización de la educación jurídica en Colombia y América Latina, analizando elementos comunes como la diversificación del acceso a la educación y la respectiva diversificación de los roles profesionales; se hará una reseña de algunas características propias de las actividades académicas de la educación jurídica, efectuando un análisis crítico de la composición curricular de los programas de Derecho. Por último, se plantea una propuesta para la integración interdisciplinar de los estudios jurídicos, en procura de dimensionar una nueva educación jurídica en el marco del actual proceso de globalización.

    The central objective is to evidence under the conditions of the teaching of the right during the last 50 years, as decisive factor in the configuration of the paper that lawyers complete as integral element of the society, and its positive incidence or negative in the social transformation through the operation of the right. This way, an approach will be made to the characterization of the legal education in Colombia and Latin America, analyzing common elements as the diversification from the access to the education and the respective diversification of the professional lists; a review of some characteristics of the academic activities of the legal education will be made, making an analysis criticizes of the curricular composition of the right programs. For I finish he thinks about a proposal for the integration interdisciplinar of the juridical studies, in it offers of dimensioned a new legal education in the mark of the current globalization process.
