La familia Requesens mimó profundamente su capilla musical, y una de las piezas que más se benefició de ello fue el órgano. Desgraciadamente el gran fondo musical que poseyó la capilla desapareció. El Palacio de la Condesa era una de las capillas musicales más antiguas de Barcelona, de carácter privado. El esplendor musical de esta capilla, se centró durante la primera mitad del siglo XVII y la primera mitad del siglo XVIII, entrando en una decadencia progresiva a finales del siglo XVIII, hasta su completa desaparición en el 1860. Por ella pasaron grandes nombres de la música catalana como: Felipe Olivellas, Tomás Milans, José Duran, entre otros.

The members of the Requesens family cared very much about their music chapel, being the organ the instrument which more attention deserved. The Palace of the Countess once housed one of the oldest private music chapels in Barcelona. Unfortunately, its musical legacy is now lost. The period of splendor of the music chapel lasted one hundred years: from the first half of the XVIIth century to the first half of the XVIIIth century. At the end of the XVIIIth century it iniciated a process of decadence which concluded in 1860 when it finally closed. Important names of Catalan music, such as Felipe Olivellas, Tomás Milans and José Durán worked at one point in the Requesens chapel.
