Cada sociedad tiene una voluntad propia para sobrevivir culturalmente, razón por la cual crea para sí una red compleja de significados que le permiten mantener vivo el recuerdo y el olvido que conforman su memoria.
Mi intención es la de reflexionar en torno al concepto de memoria para luego recrear este término en la escena venezolana actual y describir su incidencia en la configuración de sujetos culturales que se (des)conocen a sí mismos y reafirman, en gran medida, ciertas características tradicionales del imaginario latinoamericano como por ejemplo la del caos siempre al acecho.

Every society has its own will to culturally survive; therefore, it creates for itself a complex network of meanings that let memory and oblivion be kept alive.
My idea is to think about the concept of memory to then recreate this term in the current Venezuelan situation as well as to describe the influence of memory on the shaping of cultural subjects that know/unknown themselves and reaffirm, to some extent, certain traditional characteristics of the Latin American imaginary like that of chaos constantly awaiting us.
