15M. Una explicación en clave sociológica

    Este trabajo analiza el movimiento del 15M desde una perspectiva sociológica. En concreto, se interpretan las claves explicativas de este fenómeno social en base al examen de la percepción ciudadana del sistema político institucional. Para ello se ha desarrollado una metodología cualitativa a través de la observación y análisis de discurso. Se ha asistido a asambleas en la ciudad de Zaragoza y se han analizado materiales de las redes sociales de otras plataformas del 15M, a partir del examen de blogs, twitter, etc. Los principales resultados muestran que este movimiento social tiene en su génesis una compleja estructuración. Por un lado, la percepción previa que la ciudadanía otorgaba a la política y a las instituciones políticas, entendiendo su ideal para la participación política de manera puntual y concreta. Por otro lado, las consecuencias de la crisis económica, el incremento del desempleo (de especial relevancia en el caso de los jóvenes) y la visión de las entidades y mercados financieros. Y por último, la comprensión por parte de los participantes de la fuerza del orden instituyente. Los procesos participativos �espontáneos� se enriquecen cuando el ciudadano siente que es protagonista y que algo importante para él está en juego.

    In this project we will analyze the 15M movement from a sociological point of view. More specifically, we interpret the explanatory keys of this social phenomenon, on the basis of the examination of the people�s perception of the institutional political system. For this reason a qualitative methodology has been developed through discourse observation and analysis. Assemblies have been attended in the city of Zaragoza, and materials from social networks belonging to other 15M committees have been analyzed, based on the examination of blogs, Twitter, etc. The main results show that in the genesis of this social movement there is a complex structure. On the one hand, the previous perception that people had of politics and political institutions, on understanding their ideal for their involvement in politics in an isolated and specific way. On the other hand, the consequences of the economic crisis, the rise of unemployment (especially relevant in the case of young people), and the point of view of financial institutions and markets.And lastly, the fact of the participants understanding the power of the establishing order. The �spontaneous� participative processes are enriched when the citizen feels he or she is the main figure and something important for him or her is at stake.
