Violência doméstica contra crianças e adolescentes: prevençao e enfrentamento

    This work seeks to understand the social representations by actors from the System of Guarantee of Rights - SGD about prevention and combating of domestic violence against children and adolescents. We interviewed four tutelary counselors, a prosecutor and two technicians. We chose the dialectical method and based our analysis on the Theory of Social Representations of Moscovici (2003; 1978). The results show how the SGD actors actualize their practices based both on legal requirements and in the social representations that they share about domestic violence. In addition, different ways of the actors' performances are associated with the existence of some differences in these representations. Thinking about the daily practices of the actors raised by these findings can contribute to improve the performance and operation of the SGD, in view of implementing alternative combating and prevention of the phenomenon of domestic violence against children and adolescents.

    Este trabalho busca compreender as representações sociais de atores do Sistema de Garantia de Direitos (SGD) acerca da prevenção e enfrentamento da violência doméstica contra crianças e adolescentes. Entrevistamos quatro conselheiros tutelares, um promotor de justiça e dois técnicos. Escolhemos o método dialético e pautamos nossa análise na Teoria das Representações Sociais de Moscovici (1978, 2003). Os resultados mostram como os atores do SGD efetivam suas práticas baseados tanto nas prescrições jurídicas quanto nas representações sociais que compartilham sobre violência doméstica. Além disso, as formas diferenciadas de atuação dos atores associam-se à existência de algumas diferenças nessas representações. As reflexões sobre as práticas cotidianas dos atores suscitadas por estas constatações podem contribuir para o aperfeiçoamento da atuação e funcionamento do SGD, na perspectiva da implementação de alternativas de enfrentamento e prevenção do fenômeno da violência doméstica contra crianças e adolescentes.
