Estas breves notas reflexionan a partir y sobre la experiencia y situación del filósofo latinoamericano ( lo que no quita su eventual extensión a otros contextos ). El autor sostiene que cabe hoy al filósofo un papel comprometido con la causa de los oprimidos. De él se espera que comparta sus luchas y al mismo tiempo guarde una exterioridad crítica ante las mismas.

This brief notes reflect on the experiencie and situation of Latin American Philosopher. The author poses that the philosopher has currently a role that must not be ideological and can not be characterized as an "organic intellectual". Due that the philosopher is committed with the oppressed. What the society expects from her or him is a commitment with the social struggles and a critical point of view about them
