    we are interested to locate the figure of the altruistic witch Zineb in his, through whom we reveal the various stakes: sets of topics, ideological, historical and social of the committed writer Victor Hugo. So, by transgressing the traditional figure off the rural satanic witch, Hugo aspires to a scenic emancipation and his restoration set of topics compared to the romantic drama, by reaffirming always his ideological principles, all founded on the breath of freedom, and his historical and social engagements which start from national History and the revolutionary shibboleth: Freedom, Equality, and Fraternity.

    Dans ce travail, nous nous intéressons à repérer la figure de la sorcière altruiste Zineb dans une pièce théâtrale posthume de Victor Hugo Mangeront-ils ? à travers laquelle nous dévoilons les différents enjeux : thématiques, idéologiques, historiques et sociaux de l�écrivain engagé que fut Victor Hugo. En transgressant la figure traditionnelle de la sorcière rurale satanique, Hugo aspire à une émancipation scénique et à une rénovation thématique par rapport au drame romantique, en réaffirmant toujours ses principes idéologiques tous fondés sur le souffle de liberté, et ses engagements historiques et sociaux qui s�inspirent de l�Histoire nationale et de la devise révolutionnaire : Liberté, Égalité, Fraternité.
