    The pharmacy of the antique Hospital de Santa Caterina of Girona is considered as one of the most interesting in our country. Its historic-artistic value is undeniable, especially regarding the fact that it conserved its heritage. The restoration intervention forms part of a big project, which took place in about five months. In this period, during a first stage, the mural paintings on the ceiling and the furniture have been restored, and during a second stage the original pharmacist's articles, whereupon they have been replaced in their original setting.

    The objective is to obtain the opening of the place to the public and to give the public the impression of entering an 18th century pharmacy

    La farmàcia de l'antic Hospital de Santa Caterina de Girona es considera de les més interessants del nostre país. El seu valor historicoartístic és indubtable, en especial, si tenim en compte que ha conservat tot el seu patrimoni. La intervenció de restauració s'inclou dins un gran projecte, el qual ha durat aproximadament cinc mesos. Dins d'aquest període s'han restaurat, en una primera fase, les pintures murals que decoren el sostre i el mobiliari i, en una segona fase, els objectes d'apotecari originals, així com també s'ha realitzat el seu retorn i col·locació.

    L'objectiu és aconseguir que l'espai es torni a obrir al públic i que aquest tingui la percepció d'entrar a una farmàcia del segle XVIII
