    Cuatro años después de la Conferencia Internacional sobre la Investigación Cualitativa (Melbourne, 1999), la sociología y la pedagogía están entre las disciplinas que menos han aceptado el software cualitativo. Este artículo muestra cómo mediante el uso del programa Nud·ist se puede mejorar la capacidad de análisis y captar mejor la complejidad del discurso.

    Nud·ist, gracias a nuevos métodos basados en la codificación de textos y en el análisis de contenido, permite usar el ordenador, potenciando la investigación de la relación entre categorías y nuevas formas de análisis contextual.

    Se evalúa el apoyo actual de los ordenadores para el análisis de información cualitativa muy rica, característica de los proyectos de investigación social.

    Four years after the International conference on Qualitative Research (Melbourne, 1999), sociology and pedagogy are among the disciplines least accepting of qualitative software. This article shows how through the use of the program Nud·ist can be improved the analysis capacity and to capture better the complexity of the speech.

    Nud·ist, providing new methods based on the texts codification and in the content analysis, permits to use the computer, facilitating the investigation of the relationship among categories and new forms of contextual analysis. It is evaluated the current support of the computers for the qualitative information analysis very rich, characteristic of the social investigation projects.
