  • What are the literary elements of the contemporary crisis of literary theory in Italy, hastily dubbed either that of ideology, or of French theory ? Thematically, the crisis continues specificities of Italian literary studies ; chronologically, it has been declared by a semiotic old guard, while an institutionalised but unorganised young guard wants to write about reading. Goes unnoticed Orlando's intellectual construction.
