Resumen de Recherches culturelles sur le Sahara Occidental: Une preséntation sommaire des travaux dans la région du Tiris entre 2005 et 2010

• Since 2005 we have been working continuously and systematically in the Western Sahara.

  We were concentrating on a research and social cooperation project focused on the study of the cultural past of the "liberated" region of Tiris in the extreme southeastern part of the territory. During the past 6 years, we recovered and gained a wealth of information through different lines of research. We shall present a general balance of the state of research in the field from the contributions experienced in the areas of paleoclimatic, environmental, archaeological, and ethno-anthropological knowledge.
