Uso de las TIC en el proceso enseñanza aprendizaje: Universidad de La Guajira colombiana

    El estudio tuvo como objetivo analizar el nivel de uso de las TIC en el proceso enseñanza aprendizaje en la Universidad de la Guajira Colombiana, cuya variable se midió a través de tres subvariables: (a) fortalezas en el uso de las TIC, (b) debilidades en el uso de las TIC, y (c) limitaciones en el uso de las TIC. Enmarcándose en una metodología descriptiva, con un diseño no experimental, transeccional de campo; la población fue 126 docentes y 1100 alumnos, aplicándose un muestreo probabilístico, estratificado y proporcional, quedando la muestra conformada por 31 docentes y 271 estudiantes, se aplicó un instrumento constituido por 35 ítems con cinco (5) alternativas de respuestas. Se obtuvo un nivel de el tratamiento estadístico se utilizó la estadística descriptiva. Se evidenció que los profesores y alumnos desconocen las fortalezas que ofrecen las TIC al usarlas en el proceso enseñanza aprendizaje, verificándose que la aplicación de estas en las actividades detectaron severas limitaciones, especialmente en aquellos aspectos relacionados con los recursos disponibles para implantar una plataforma tecnológica la cual permitirá a todos sus miembros emplearlas, en consecuencia, se recomienda dar a conocer los resultados de este estudio, con la finalidad de considerar las variables estudiadas al momento de usar plenamente las TIC en el proceso enseñanza aprendizaje.

    The objective of this study was to analyze the level of use of the ICT in the education and learning process in the University of the Guajira, in Colombia. The variable use of the ICT in the education and learning process was measured through three sub variables: (a) strengths in the use of the ICT, (b) weaknesses in the use of the ICT and (c) limitations in the use of the ICT. The study is framed in a descriptive methodology, with a non-experimental design, transeccional, field-investigation; the population was 126 teachers and 1100 students, applying a probabilistic sampling, stratified and proportional, the sample was conform by 31 teachers and 271 students, an instrument constituted by 35 items with five (5) alternatives of answer was applied. It was obtained a level of reliability of 0,934. For As a result, it was evident that the professors and students don�t know the fortresses that offer the ICT when using them in the process of teaching-learning, it was verified that the application of these in the educational activities is not the most suitable. Likewise, it was confirmed the existence of weaknesses especially educational and technological. Finally severe limitations were detected, especially in those related with the available resources to implant a technological platform, which will allow to all his members to use them. In consequence, it�s recommended to inform about the results of this study, with the purpose of considering the variables studied at the moment of full use of ICT in the education and learning process.
