El autor se ocupa de un caso clínico de hipertensión general con hipertensión ocular a predominio unilateral, con trombosis venosas y extravasaciones sanguíneas en un ojo. Sostiene que se trata de una perturbación tisular local que ha traído alteraciones funcionales del sistema capilar ocular más acentuadas en O.D. La hipertensión ocular en este caso está más influenciada por los trastornos locales que por la enfermedad general que la paciente presenta.

The author deals on a clinical case of general hypertension which ocular hypertension, predominating the right eye, with venous thrombosis and blood exudation in one eye. He points out thet there is a local disturbance of tissue which has brought about funtional changes of the capillary system of the eyes, more pronunced in the right one. The ocular hypertension in this case is more influeced by local disturbance than by the general illness of which patient is suffering.
