Resumen de Estudio radiológico de dos fracturas en una momia andina

En este estudio presentamos un cuerpo humano momificado, de sexo mujer, perteneciente a la colección del Museo de Antropología Médica y Forense, Paleopatología y Criminalística, de la Facultad de Medicina de la Universidad Complutense de Madrid (Reverte, 1999). Dicha momia presenta una fractura del húmero izquierdo a nivel del tercio medio de la diáfisis, y, otra fractura en el fémur izquierdo a nivel del tercio medio de la diáfisis. Realizamos estudio macroscópico y radiológico, y, a la vista de los resultados obtenidos, podemos concluir que dichas fracturas se producen perimortem, y que ambas fracturas se han producido en el mismo momento y por mecanismos diferentes.

In this study we present a human mummified body, of sex woman, belonging to the collection of the Museum of Medical and Forensic Anthropology, Paleopathology and Criminalistics, of the Faculty of Medicine of the Complutense University of Madrid (Reverte, 1999). This mummy presents a fracture of the left humerus at the middle third of the diaphysis, and another fracture in the left femur at the middle third of the diaphysis. We made macrocospic and radiological study, and, in view of the obtained results, we can conclude that these mentioned fractures are produced perimortem, and that both fractures have been produced at the same time and for different mechanisms.
