In this paper we present a Direct Field Orientation Control (DFOC) method of an induction motor achieved by decoupling torque and flux dynamics, which leads to independent control torque and flux as for separately exited DC motors: in this way high performance from an induction motor will be achieved. New estimation tecbnique, unscented Kalman Filter (UKF) is applied to state observation of the Current, Flux and speed of induction motors when the input was just Voltage and Current. We deal with nonlinear dynamic system which is represented by the induction machine. The results have been obtained in Mat Lab/Smiulink blocks and they show that the UKF has very accurate estimation.
